Evolution downgrade problem! new incoming emails are not visible!

On my desktop PC I had Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope and I was using Evolution as e-mail client. Some days ago I bought an Acer Aspire One and I installed Ubuntu 8.10 UMPC. The version of Evolution in  Ubuntu 8.10 is not totally compatible with the version installed with Ubuntu 9.04 and when I imported my mails I received the following message:

evolution-mail-Message: Error occurred while existing dialogue active:
table INBOX has 28 columns but 26 values were supplied

and I couldn’t see new incoming mails.

To solve this problem I removed the file folders.db in the directory .evolution/mail/local/

# cd ~

# rm -f .evolution/mail/local/folders.db

When you will start again evolution it will rebuild the folders.db file and the incoming mail will be showed.

That’s all.
