After I updated the operating system from Mountain Lion to Mavericks I lost one of my preferred tools: MacVim.

Launching mvim from the command line gave back the following output:

$ mvim 

dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Perl/lib/5.10/libperl.dylib

  Referenced from: /Applications/MacVim.app/Contents/MacOS/Vim

  Reason: image not found

Trace/BPT trap: 5

 

After I googled for a while I found a simple solution, I installed s napshot for Mavericks. You can find it at the following address: https://github.com/b4winckler/macvim/releases

And now it seems to work properly.
