Ubuntu 11.10 is great OS but it has some things to change, especially if you want to work on a laptop.

Ubuntu 10.10 starts the wifi led in blinking mode.
At first this feature is nice, but after few hours it annoyed me a lot, so I found a trick to stop this annoying blinking.
Simply add the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/wlan.conf
options iwlcore led_mode=1
If, on your AspireOne 110 with Ubuntu 9.04, you kincannot see the wifi led blinking you can execute the following commands:
